This item appears to be a demonic longsword hilt. While grasping the hilt, you can use a bonus action to cause a blade of hellish energy to spring into existence, or make the blade disappear. While the blade exists.
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage. The weapon can kill even immortal creatures, such as creatures with the rejuvenation trait, as long as they are evil-aligned. You have advantage on attack roll against Demon and are immune to be frightened or charmed. The weapon has three charges and regains expended charge at dawn.
When you attack a demon, you can expend one charge, cutting the demon in half, the demon dies. if you roll a 20 on the attack roll, you don't need to expend a charge to have this effect. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for it to be cut in half with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit.
The crucibles are form of energy blade weapons, and are supposedly a kind of weapons capable of permanently killing an evil-aligned god or any immortal evil-aligned creature; however, the creature will rise again if the Crucible blade is removed from its body. To circumvent this, the Slayer tends to break the handle off of a Crucible after killing a god or other immortal creature, leaving the blade embedded. When this is done, blue energy visibly spreads over the creature's body, seemingly to indicate its permanent neutralization. The blade was mainly designed against powerful demon, using hellish energy against them.
A Crucible is an energy blade weapon powered by raw Wraith or Hell energy. The handle is capable of being charged with energy, and can form a red glowing blade covered in runes that may be wielded like a sword. The crucible works by generating a hot, presumably super-sharp blade of energy that can cut through demons very easily, seemingly burning through them. This allows the wielder to instantly slice any demon in pieces, even exceptionally large and durable ones.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
