Assassin's Sheath

This dark black sheath has several silver runes across it. The inside of the sheath is coated with a strange grey substance. This sheath can hold one application of poison at a time and preserve it indefinitely. When a sword is in this sheath, any poison in the sheath is aerosolized and coats the blade of the sword. The first target you strike with the sword subsequent to sheathing it is subjected to the poison.
