Avacyn's Chest of Warding

These magical chests are used to protect sensitive materials of the clergy and inquisitors within the church of Avacyn. Each chest is approximately 12" x 8" x 6". The ornate locking mechanism uses a blessed silver key inserted in a keyhole at the center of a silver inlay of Avacyn's collar. Any individual tampering with the chest triggers a holy ward. When the ward is triggered, anyone within a 10' radius of the chest must make a DEX saving throw DC15 or take 3d10 radiant damage (half on success) as a thunderous boom blasts outward that can be easily heard within 300'. Once the ward is triggered, the accompanying silver key must be used to reset the device.
