This item first appears to be a silver snake with emerald eyes that wraps around your forearm. When activated as a bonus action, it uncoils and slithers into your hand in the form of a silver spear. The transformation lasts until you deactivate it as a bonus action. Your attacks with this weapon count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage. This weapon is also a light weapon.

 On a critical hit with this weapon, it unleashes poison which deals 2d4 poison damage (which isn't doubled with a critical hit) to the creature hit and the creature must make a constitution saving throw, DC 13, or be poisoned.

Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
