During the war between deities centuries or more ago a truly neutral god now long dead sent his Aasimar champion and a band of adventurers to collect feathers from 9 of the most powerful Aasimar in the planes of existence. Each Aasimar was to be of a different nature. Once forged the god was able to discern how best to interact with his brethren thanks to the cloak revealing their true natures to him. Before his death at the hands of one who would take the cloak for their own the cloak was cast to the material realm where it was hidden in the tomb of his now slain Aasimar champion.
