This weapon has a +3 to attack rolls and damage rolls. While attuned to this weapon you may cast the gust cantrip at will. As a bonus action on your turn, you can speak the Command Word, causing the staff to expand to include thick cloth wings and a tail wing. You may revert it to a quarterstaff by speaking the Command Word again (no action required).
Additionally, this staff has 6 charges. You may expend one charge to cast the spell Thunderwave. You may spend additional charges to upcast the spell, costing 1 charge per spell slot level, to a maximum of 4 charges. You may also expend 2 charges to cast the Gust of Wind spell. You may also expend 2 charges of the staff while the wings are expanded to gain a flying speed of 80 feet until the end of your next turn. While flying in this manner, your flying movement does not trigger opportunity attacks from creatures without a flying speed. Additionally, when you are falling while the wing are expanded, you instead glide, moving 50 feet horizontally, and 10 feet down every turn. While gliding you reduce up to 100 feet of fall damage.
The staff regains 1d4+1 charges at dawn.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
