Staff (quarterstaff), artifact (requires attunement by a By a Wizard that chose the School of Necromancy subclass)

This wrought iron staff pulses with foul necromantic sorceries making it deal 3d10 Necrotic damage in addition to it's natural 1d6 bludgeoning damage and can be used as a spellcasting focus.

The staff adjusts it's length to be practical in the hands of the wielder.

While attuned to the staff the owner is able to retain permanent control over undead creatures raised by spells like Animate Dead, Create Undead, Danse Macabre and Negative Energy Flood.

The owner of the staff can cast Arcane Hand wich manifests itself as a giant spectral skeletal hand.

The owner can now move up to 10 cubic feet worth of earth using Mold Earth instead of the usual 5.

 

 

Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
