This intricate holy symbol is composed of two pieces : half of a maiden's face, made of ivory-white material and another half of a rotting corps made of jet-black metal. This unique symbol of the godess Hel can be used by her follower when casting spells to create unique effects. The symbol contains 5 charges which can be used to create the following effects :
Agony (1 charge). When casting a cleric spell, you can hold the rotted half of the symbol to curse the target. The target must succeed on a Constitution check (use your spell DC) or suffer a level of exhaustion. If the target fails by 5 or more, they instead take two levels of exhaustion.
Vitality (1 charge). When casting a cleric touch spell, you can hold the pure half of the symbol to bless the target. The target heals one condition, disease or level of exhaustion.
Twilight (3 charges). When casting a cleric spell on yourself (and yourself only), you may used the joined parts of the symbol to create a nebula of opposing energies. Chose a number of creatures within a 15 feet radius equal to your cleric level. These creature receive 1d10 + your Wisdom modifier force damage or heal that same amount.
When you expand the last charge, you gain one level of exhaustion which can't be healed until the symbol regains one charge. The symbol regains 1 charge daily at dusk.
