One of eccentric gnome inventor Aberfoth Distraction's many magical oddities, this simple and unassuming crate can summon large amounts of ball bearings, which can be used for whatever the owner desires. 

This is a simple 6-inch-cube shaped crate that can instantly summon its full volume of 1/4-inch diameter ball bearings 3 times per day. Activation requires a key word and the DM can opt to roll percentage with each activation. Upon a roll of 5 or less, the box glitches and instead crates one 6-inch ball bearing. This creation of a large bearing damages the box slightly (1 hit point), severity increasing with continued use in the next 24-hours (+1 hit point of damage per use). If the box is not used for 24 hours, it will heal 1 point of damage naturally.

The activation word is "Orb" in gnomish by default, however a caster of moderate skill may perform a simple ritual to change the activation word (a DC 16 intelligence check required)

Notes: DM can opt to have a player roll percentage. On a roll of 5 or less, the box will glitch and take 1d4 hit points of damage (has 5 hit points total) which can be healed with 24 hours of non-use. Additional use once damaged by a glitch will deal an additional point of damage per use
