This magical item is the first tier supplication item of Moradin's church. It cannot be obtained except through favor with Moradin. It does not require attunement to wield, but any non-faithful who wields it suffers Moradin's wrath. However, it can be taken and destroyed in a ritual of desecration. In that case, the original owner suffers disfavor.
While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.
Ancestral Feud: You have an additional + 2 bonus to AC against Duergar, Giants, Goblins, and Orcs.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
