An ornately decorated teapot suitable as a conversation piece. The teapot has a second hidden chamber to store a small amount of liquid, usually poison.
Creatures holding the teapot may make an investigation check of 15 to notice that there's a hidden lid to the secondary chamber.
The creature pouring tea can use an action to support the dominant hand to cover a small hidden hole causing the secondary liquid to be poured along with the tea.
Any creature within 5 feet with passive insight or perception of 15 or more can make a DC 15 perception check to determine that the person pouring tea is holding the teapot differently from normal.
When the main chamber is empty any creature can holding the teapot can tell that there's additional liquid remaining if the secondary chamber still holds liquid.
"Drinking tea with a stranger is one of life's pleasures but taking out a target without notice... now THAT is an artform". Zhang - Assassin, tea master and minister of information and ceremonies
