You gain a +4 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
When you hit a fiend with this weapon, the fiend takes an extra 4d4 force damage. Additionally, if a fiend is killed with this weapon, the fiend is permanently killed and cannot resurrect or reform (this feature does not affect gods/deities, such as Tiamat). A fiend killed with this weapon disintegrates and cannot be resurrect through any means. For the purpose of this weapon, "fiend" refers to any creature with the fiend type, including balors and imps. If this weapon is used to attack a creature that is not a fiend, it explodes with divine energy, dealing 2d10 radiant damage to all creatures within 10 ft. of the weapon (including the wielder of this weapon). This energy does not affect fiends or celestials, for an unknown reason.
This weapon is too unwieldy to throw like an ordinary dagger.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
