This sword, though otherwise mundane, has a permanent Darkness spell enchanted onto it. This weapon while unsheathed emanates a 15 ft. sphere of magical darkness around itself. A creature with darkvision can't see through this darkness, and nonmagical light can't illuminate it. The area of darkness created by this sword does not dispel light as described in the Darkness spell however, neither does it get dispelled by higher level spells creating light such as Daylight. Magical light of 2nd level and lower cannot illuminate this darkness.
Though it's listed here as a shortsword, this could be applied to any sword, not only shortswords.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
