Armor (shield), artifact (requires attunement by a Must be wearing Asmodeus' Skin to attune, but doens't need to be attuned to use.)

Asmodeus' Mantle is an octagonal shaped shield of standard shield size, bearing the squirming visages of those slain by Asmodeus' Diplomacy strewn about front and back and his symbol three inverted triangles arranged in a long triangle on the front. When attuned, the shield contorts to the users physique for optimal wielding. Unattuned, the shield grants no magical perks, and only raises AC by 2.

When attuned:

The wearer can dismiss the shield to a pocket dimension and summon it at will as a reaction. Can be summoned and/or dismissed from any location the wearer can see, and the shield will travel to that point, up to 30 ft away before vanishing and reappearing. Does 2d8 bludgeoning damage against anything it hits on it's way, and whatever it hits on its path, including the object it strikes needs to make a dex save 13 or be knocked over/prone.

Any ranged or melee attack is disadvantaged if they're attacking from the front.

Shield bashing is utilized with the unarmed attack, and is used as a reaction to prevent an attack, and gives an additional 4d4 fire damage to the unarmed attack. Must be within 5 feet of attacker.

Boosts AC by 5.

Wielder is immune to thunder damage.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.

Notes: Must be wearing Asmodeus' Skin to attune, but doens't need to be attuned to use.
