These two sets of rings, known as the Aegis of Elements, are an ancient relic used by elementalists of Nexus to control the ebb and flow of the elements. These two sets happen to be the set for water(cold) and fire. The cold ring is has engraved on it, with a mixture of aquan and auran, the phrase "Insert Cold Quote Here", and set into it is a beautiful diamond. The ring seems to frost over to anyone closely inspecting it, and is freezing cold to the touch. Anyone wearing the ring has that hand engulfed in cold and gains the benefits of the cold ring.
The fire ring is set with a large ruby, and has an engraving in iguan on it. The engraving to those that can read it says, "Insert Fire Quote Here". The ring to any onlooker is wreathed in flame, and burns those that touch it. Anyone wearing the ring has that hand engulfed into flame and gains the benefits of the fire ring.
Each ring comes with a capacity of 500, though when wearing more than one ring, these two rings pool their capacities together and their effects merge. If wearing two rings, any similar effects can not be used simultaneously. ie: The 2nd effect from each ring can only be used ONCE per long rest on one of the rings, you can not use it once on both. Any time the rings pool capacity goes below 0, you immediately suffer the relics bane.

Ruby Fire Ring
- Any time you use a spell, feature, feat, or other means to absorb fire damage, the rings capacity decreases by half the damage you would have taken.
- Using your bonus action, you can choose to decrease this rings capacity to recharge a spell slot. The capacity decreases by 25 for each level spell slot regenerated(Epic spells continue from 9th, Ie: tier I is 10th, Tier II is 11th, and Tier III are 12th). Once you'd used this effect you can not do so until you finish a long rest.
- When using a spell that deals fire damage, you can use your reaction to expend all the charge in this ring to add fire damage equal to the capacity discharged to the spell. You can do this after you make the spell attack, but before you know it hits.
