This magical ammunition is inscribed with the giant rune Syre, meaning acid. On a successful hit with this ammunition the target takes 1d6 additional acid damage and another 1d4 acid damage at the start of its next turn. Objects and constructs take the maximum acid damage.

Acid Coat Ammunition can be any type of ammunition and can be purchased in bundles of 5 at the additional cost of 50 gold.

A character capable of casting druid, ranger, sorcerer, or wizard spells may create 5 pieces of this ammunition by performing a special ritual on existing ammunition. The ritual takes 1 hour to perform, uses 50 gp worth of emerald dust, and requires the caster to expend a 1st-level spell slot.
