A wonderful creation made by the eccentric artificer, Zeal Gallwind, for a party of adventures that were excellent customers and showed interest in his craft. The spear is double headed, with the blades popping out of the shaft of the weapon itself, while wiring and tubes run the length of the weapon. Blue dragon scales decorate the handle, to show victory over a Blue Dragon.
You can use a bonus action to activate this magic spear, causing lightning to crackle from the blade. This lightning emits dim light for 10 feet. While the spear is activated, it deals an extra 2d6 lightning damage to any target it hits. The lightning last until you use a bonus action to deactivate the spear, or until you drop or stow it.
In addition, a bonus action can be used to collapse the spear into a rod for easy carry, and extended back into a spear by use of another bonus action.
If a 1 is rolled when attacking, the spear surges, dealing 1d6 lightning damage to the wielder and deactivates. A bonus action can be used to reactivate the spear.
Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
