Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a by a sorcerer, warlock, or wizard)

This Hat has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions, roughly 1 feet in diameter at the mouth and 4 feet deep. The bag can hold up to 1000 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 128 cubic feet. The hat weighs 5 pounds, regardless of its contents. Retrieving an item from the bag requires an action.

The user can also pull one item from the following list.

Any Simple melee or ranged weapon (includes 10 appropriate ammunition). One set of tools, one item from the list of other adventuring gear from the players handbook (cannot cost 50 gold or more). The user can also allow the hat to pull from the sea of chaos one item that is "needed" by the user. These items last until another item is pulled from the Hat. Once this feature has been used it can't be used again until the following dawn.

The Hat can't be pierced, or torn by mundane means but if the hat is overloaded it ruptures and is destroyed, and its contents are scattered in the Astral Plane. If the Hat is turned inside out, its contents spill forth, unharmed, but the Hat must be put right before it can be used again. Breathing creatures inside the Hat can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 20 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate.

Placing the Hat inside an extradimensional space created by a Heward's handy haversack, portable hole,  or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can’t be reopened.
