The arrows of the egoist allow the user to switch place with the target of the attack. The target of the attack must make a charisma save equal to 5 plus the character's level. On a failed save, the position of the shooter is switched with that of the target of the attack.
The target being switched must be of equal size to the shooter, AND there must be room for the shooter to move into that space and vice versa for the effect to take place. The target must be living (that is to say, not dead or inanimate). Undead are valid targets.
The arrows add +1 to attacks, and +2 to damage (psychic).
DM's note: The arrows magic is slightly unstable and ego-driven. Occasionally, when the shooter goes to grab another type of arrow kept in the same quiver, the arrows of the egotist will swap. There's a 1 in 20 chance of this happening and the arrow being an Arrow of the Egoist as opposed to the one that was sought.
Notes: Damage: Psychic, Ranged Weapon Attack: Piercing, : You must stare at your own reflection in the polished metallic arrowheads for one hour before you can use them.
