A short, single-edged sword. The wakizashi is the little, or shōtō, in the little-big sword pair daishō worn by samurai for two-weapon fighting alongside a katana, the daitō blade. Cost 10 GP.

Mastery of Niten Ichi-ryū - the bonding of two heavenly blades - marks the ability of the trained samurai to wield the complementary daishō pair. It is said the Rōnin Warrior Musashi attuned his very soul to his daishō in meditation,  harnessing the Weave to his blade's hamōn to wield true heavenly union. Knowledge of such blades and such skill now exists only in legend.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
