Ammo(Also known as bullets) made by smiths can be used for weapons such as Flintlocks, revolvers, and etc. Ammo comes in all shapes and sizes and in a magical world possibly different elements. Ammo are more finely made versions of gunpowder and can deal 1d6 damage (but make sure your DM is ok with this, if they are not ok with this use you’re normal weapon damage dice + the effect of the ammo you use)
Standered ammo: not that rare so they are usually cheap, does 1d6 piercing damage.
High Velocity Ammo: also not that rare, does 1d6 slashing damage
Ball Ammo: common, does 1d6 bludgeoning damage
Poison Ammo: Common and varies, does 1d6 poison damage
Acid Ammo: uncommon, little more expensive, does 1d6 acid damage
Fire Ammo: uncommon, does 1d6 fire damage
Frost Ammo: uncommon, does 1d6 cold damage
Necrotic Ammo: Rare and varies, does 1d6 necrotic damage
Lightning Ammo: Very Rare and varies, does 1d6 lightning damage
