Armor of the War Caster

This ornate black leather armor is covered intricate gold scrolling and glowing blue runes. Waves of blue energy appear to be constantly pulsing and moving across it and when it is hit, the armor flashes with bright blue light. Upon this armor is wrought a powerful enchantment that, while you're attuned to it, grants the following benefits:

• You gain a +3 bonus to AC.
• You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
• Your spell save DC and spell attack bonus each increase by 2.
• As a bonus action, you can touch several of the runes across this armor and activate it. For the next minute, when you targeted by an attack, spell or other harmful effect from another creature, roll a d6. On a 6, you are completely unaffected by the attack, spell, or effect and can roll another d6. On a 6, the effect is redirected to the attacker, as if they were the initial target of the attack. However, no additional creatures can be affected by the attack as a result of the attack being turned onto the attacker. In addition, all other creatures initially targeted by the effect are still targeted. If you redirect a spell or effect that requires concentration, you can choose to begin concentrating on it. If you do not, the spell or effect immediately ends. At your DM’s discretion, an effect of a spell may not occur in this way. Once you activate this armor, you cannot do so again until you take a long rest.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
