Adamantine Plated Flying Equine Barding

This plated barding has been designed specifically to be comfortably equipped to a flying horse-like creature (pegasus, griffin, hippogriff, etc.) without impeding the ability to attack, move, fly, or carry objects. This barding is reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. While a flying equine wears the barding, any critical hit against it becomes a normal hit.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
