Adamantine Smoldering Plate Barding

This barding (armor made for a mount) can be adapted to fit any mount that does not require an exotic saddle to ride. This barding is reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. While the mount wears the barding, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.

Wisps of harmless, odorless smoke rise from this armor while it is worn.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
