An amulet crafted from a pair of ancient keys used to lock away a dangerous lich from the outside world. It was crafted as a gift of friendship and trust between an unlikely pair of adventurers. The amulet can fit in a human palm comfortably and doesn't heat or burn from exposure to hot temperatures.
A small Ruby and Sapphire are fixed inside the amulet and are unable to be removed by strength or attempting to smelt it. A dispel magic spell will cause the amulet to become nonmagical, in which case it can be smelted. The Ruby and Sapphire are worth approximately 15GP each, as they are very small and not in prime condition.
Wearing the amulet allows you to add your proficiency bonus when inspecting locked doors, and for Investigation checks to find and locate keys.
