This is a compass not for direction but information. Many have foretold that those who can read the compass can see the past and the future.
Attuning to this Compass grants 1 Portent dice per day and expertise in the History Skill.
Additionally it grants the user the ability to make a History check to recall an event that they were not present for from the past 1000 years. The results of the check may be similar to the Legend Lore spell but ultimately is up to the DM's discretion. Each time you use this feature you gain a point of exhaustion.
