This intracte astronomical instrument is used by wizard to analyse and harness the power of the astral bodies. A spellcaster can use this arcane focus to draw power from the wheel to create powerful card that can help their allies. Such instruments are rare and the secrets of their creation was lost long ago.
When casting a wizard spell of 1-st level or higher using this arcane focus, you can draw power from the wheel to manifest a card as a bonus action. When you do so, roll on the Card Table to determine which card is drtawn from the wheel. Once you have drawn a card, you can use your reaction to assign it to a creature within 30 feet of you. If you draw a card while you already have one drawn, the first one dissipates and is replaced by the second. It's also not possible for a creature to have more than one card. When a card is used by the creature, it dissipates.
