A Greataxe designed with a hollow core and strung and tuned perfectly to be played as a lute. Wait? Bards can't use greataxes... right?
WRONG!
This is a lute of such awesome badassness, that the greataxe is merely riding on the coattails of the bestial lute at its core. That's right. Bards are proficient to wield this finely tuned instrument of destruction. Split skulls, rend limbs, and melt faces all over the battlefield like a METAL BARD OF LEGEND. The additional steel, wood, blood, sweat and tears used to reinforce the frame makes it so that only the strongest bards are worthy enough to wield this epic instrument of devastation. Strength scores of 12 or less cannot tame this beast of ballads and should just go home crying to their mothers.
The Axe Lute grants advantage to attack anyone that requests "Freebird", or "Stairway to Heaven".
"... and that's how I single-handily bested all the creatures of the Lich's tomb using only a tube sock, three cocktail swords, and my Axe Lute. So anyway, here's Wonderwall."
- Lyric Earsplitter, Orc Bard, playing at the Yawning Portal.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
