- This item features a long black chain with a large obsidian amulet on the end, the amulet itself depicts a demon skull with a gaping maw and sharp teeth. The teeth protrude outwards from the amulet and are very sharp.
- Any blood that enters the demon's open mouth is absorbed into the amulet, allowing the wearer to completely assume the form of the blood's owner (no matter the creature). This effect is a strong illusion and any creature attempting to discern whether the wearer is disguised must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom (Insight) check to notice the illusion. The illusion also breaks if the wearer takes any damage, magical or otherwise. The wearer may also choose to add small apparel to the illusion such as jewelry and articles of clothing, though the form and figure of the creature are constant and unchangeable. The amulet can recall up to 10 disguises at once, any more and the oldest is purged from the amulet to make room for the newest.
- As a bonus action, the demon's mouth slams shut and it's eyes glow a bright red, creating X Illusions of the wearer and any allies within 30 ft of the wearer. The illusions act as described in the Mirror Image spell for X illusions (X may be any number from one to three). The amulet requires a blood sacrifice after the use of this ability or the mouth will not reopen and it's abilities are unusable. If X was one, the wearer must sacrifice 3d10 hit points to the amulet, if X was 2 the wearer must sacrifice 4d12 hit points to the amulet, if X was 3 the wearer must sacrifice 8d12 hit points to the amulet. The blood may come from any creature and if a creature is slain and its blood is sacrificed to the amulet then its max HP represents the hit points it sacrifices to the amulet.
