Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement by a Exalted state)
The Amulet of Bable is a imbued with a curse version of the Tongues Spell.
This item cannot be removed without a remove curse, greater restoration, or in it's exalted state.
- Remove curse causes the item to crumble to dust.
- Greater restoration removes the cursed aspect of it and ascends it one level (Max 1 level).
Dormant State
The wearer of this amulet can now understand any language spoken to them. They can respond, but the player must make 1d6 roll. The roll is How many languages their phrase has to pass through in google translate.
- Rolls a 1. English>Japanese=English. (Any foreign language is up to the DM and player)
- Rolls a 6. English>Japanese>Russian>Italian>Norwegian>Portuguese> Hebrew=English
Awakened State
- +1 AC
- The Roll is now only a 1d6-3.
Exalted State
- +2 AC
- The tongues spell is now permanently active with no side effects. The item is no longer cursed.
