Weapon (longbow), rare

Weapon (Bow), rare (requires attunement)

This ancient bow is ornatley decorated in a porous coral like metal and irridescent shells and crystals to look like fins coming off the top and bottom.

This bow functions normally underwater and has a +1 attack & damage.
When you nock an arrow on this bow and whisper, in primordial, the magic word of your chosing on attunment, the crystals on the bow glow bright aquamarine. Before making an attack with this weapon on a creature within 60ft, you can spend your bonus action to imbue the arrow with a special attack. As the Arrow shoots out a trail of magical energy follows it, upon striking the foe the energy snaps tight and soidifies to a strong braided kelp rope bound to the bow. The target of your attack becomes tethered to you until you drop the effect or they manage to break free. You can have only one tether at a time, and can not use the bow until the effect is gone.
While tethered you can use an attack to make an apposed athletics check to reel the creature in. You are considered proficient for this check.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
