A golden amulet worn around the neck holding a central ruby in the shape of a heart. On the back of the amulet is an old Elvish inscription "True strength comes to those who desire it above all else".
The amulet must be attuned to function. Once activated , the ruby and inscription begin to glow, filling the bearer with resolute courage and absolute determination. For the duration of the battle the bearer receives +2 to Constitution and Wisdom and gain hit points equal to half their current hit dice. If the bearer receives damage that will bring them to 0 hit points or below, they can instead will themselves to ignore the damage with a DC 10 Constitution check, taking a level of exhaustion instead. All damage mitigated in this way will be tallied separately and applied after battle, if the total damage would bring your character to 0 from full hit points you will make death saves, each level of exhaustion obtained in this way will be one failed save. If the bearer falls, they can not be resurrected, revived or reincarnated instead for their valor the amulet sends them instantly to their god, the bearers soul will no longer desire to be part of the mortal realm and will find peace.
"As the blow hits and the bearer falls and all seems lost, they catch themselves on one knee and stand, filled with overwhelming determination boiling in their blood they shrug the blow off and ready themselves for more."
