The Inferno Blade is from my not-yet-released roleplaying game Beasts of Vengeance. Inferno Blade is one of the most powerful weapons in Beasts of Vengeance, and is wielded by my character, Akra the Unstoppable. It is an ancient orc weapon that has ancient words inscribed on both sides. Unlike Flame Tougue Longsword, (which I think is awesome) Inferno Blade is not on fire. However, it is extremely hot and can cause other objects to light on fire. Another feature that separates Inferno Blade from its D&D counterpart is the shape of the tip of its blade. The tip of a typical blade is pointed in the middle, but the tip of Inferno Blade only slants in one direction. (Typical blades are shaped like this: /\ Inferno Blade is shaped like this: / )
Inferno Blade does an incredible 8 d4 damage. (d4s for higher minimum damage) This does either fire or slashing damage. (weilder's choice)
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: a level 15 or higher fighter., Damage, Combat, Versatile, Sap

Posted Jul 2, 2021Hi everyone! For this weapon, I wrote that it does 8 d4s damage, but I realize that rolling 8 dice repeatedly throughout a game would be quite tedious. Therefore I have decided that Akra's Inferno Blade does either 8 d4s OR 2 d12s damage, (wielder's choice.)
