The Acrid uses vials of acid as ammunition. 1 vial of Acid counts as 2 shots and requires 2 hands to reload. The Acrid causes Acid damage instead of piercing.
Acid spit. You use your action to prep the Acrid for its namesake, expending 2 vials of acid. On the next turn, you fire off the Acrid shooting a geyser of acid in a 25-foot line in front of you. Each creature within the line must make a DEX Save DC 16 or take 8d6 acid damage or half as much on a failed one.
Proficiency with a Musket allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
