Adventurer's Mess Kit

You see that it looks little more than a tin pail about 8 inches across, with a tin lid secured to the top by clips around the outside, and you wonder if it's something you'd ever need.   The four clips turn easily enough and the lid comes right off.  The first thing you notice inside is that there is a small handle that attaches to the one edge of the lid, turning it into a small frying pan.  You realize the lid would also make a great plate to eat from when you've cooked your meal.  The pail itself is the perfect size to boil water, for tea or soup or whatever else you might want to boil water for.  The kit also comes with a set of utensils that you would need for cooking and eating a basic meal.  There's also a tin cup, just large enough for a decent cup of tea or coffee, or whatever your pleasure might be.  In fact, a small flat tin has exactly what you were hoping for when  you open it (tea or coffee).  There is a small cloth pouch, where you find the exact common spice you were looking for every time you open it, a different spice or sugar every time, just what one might need to make a descent meal in the wild.  Thought kinda peculiar, yet surprisingly nice, you aren't decided on whether to keep it or not until you go to wash up after your first meal and you notice that . .  everything . . including the pan that you fried the fish in, is already clean and ready to be stored away.  Well . . this might be worth keeping after all.  (Later on in your journey, you'll also start to notice that the spice pouch never seems to empty, and neither does the coffee/tea tin)
