Wondrous Item, uncommon

A length of ash, it is knobby and has a slight twist to it but is mostly straight and it is quite sturdy.  It seems to change when you first take a hold of it, growing longer or shorter to match your height.  There is leather wrapped around it right where your hand would grasp it, making it perfect for helping you along the path or clearing brush out of your way when the journey takes you off the beaten path.  If the situation should ever present itself, you will find that the staff is nearly impossible to break, unless maybe a storm giant got a hold of it.  THAT could save your life some day.

Once per long rest, the walking stick can cast the Druid cantrip Shillelagh upon itself.  Beyond that, if you should have to use it as a weapon, it will do 1d6 damage.

You'll notice that, while in possession of this walking stick, you always seems to be aware of the nearest settlement, as long as you're within 10 miles of it.

Notes: Weapon Property: Two-Handed
