Amulet of Understanding

Long ago, scholars had the greatest magic users create many such items, though few still remain, the amulet allows the bearer once attuned to understand all languages, able to read,write and speak. Such a treasure many scholars are willing to pay a handsome sum for, or even kill. Most have been lost but few remain, many magic users curse these items in fear of a thief trying to take it, but those are the ones that weren't lost to the wilds of the world.
