Weapon (dagger), legendary (requires attunement)

Forged in the belly of Geryon in Stygia, the fifth layer of Hell, Seuruz is a sentient infernal dagger known as a "Soul Keeper."

When attuned, Seuruz offers a +3 bonus to Attack & Damage rolls made with this weapon. Additionally, any creature reduced to 0 hit points with Seuruz immediately has their soul absorbed by the dagger, and blocked from leaving, moving on, or communicating with the outside world. When out of combat, the character attuned to Seuruz can enter a meditative state to interrogate the souls within the dagger. 

Seuruz is sentient & evil. It is also a possessive & jealous weapon. When attuned to Seuruz, the wielder has disadvantage on any attack roll not made with Seuruz. Furthermore, if the dagger is used to reduce an opponent's hit points to 0, and the wielder does not have an evil alignment, the wielder must make a DC 18 Wisdom Save or enter a blood lust rage which forces the wielder to attack the nearest creature until they or the wielder are reduced to 0 hit points, upon which the save is made again.

Any attempt to disconnect with Seuruz may result in unforeseen & terrible consequences.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
