Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement by a fighter, cleric or paladin)

Upon seizing power in Marienburg, Lothar von Ulm had this black armor made to commemorate his reign, although few blacksmiths of note deigned to serve the mad king. Although the hole caused by Sigismund's war pick has been patched, nothing can be done to restore the damage done by centuries in the grave, or from the necromantic corruption exuded by its wearer.

Mantle of the Mad King. Intimidation rolls made while wearing this armor are made with advantage, but all Persuasion rolls are made with disadvantage.

Corroded Steel. This armor grants + 3 AC and resistance to necrotic damage, but reduces all healing by half.

Death Approaches. This armor doubles the range of all abilities, spells, and divinities that cause fear. Furthermore, the creatures affected by Fear caused by the wearer of this armor will have to make a Wisdom saving throw DC 18.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Notes: Advantage: Intimidation, Disadvantage: Persuasion, Bonus: Armor Class, Resistance: Necrotic, fighter, cleric or paladin, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
