Dragonhide Plate

This armor is similar to plate, but is better. For starters, it is more supple than standard plate. It is also wearable by rangers and druids, and counts as medium armor. It takes a whole dragon and one very competent armorsmith to make a set of it. The armor has one more feature: You can cast the Eldritch Blast cantrip at 5th level once per day, using your Cha modifier. It does damage corresponding to the dragon's color. 

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
