Armor (studded leather), varies

Similar to a standard skinsuit, except with armored plating to protect from hazards like debris and small arms fire. Sometimes referred to as a Hardsuit, these variations have many of the same features as normal skinsuits, but offer a more rugged exterior as well as the benefits of using a full atmosphere of pressure, and requiring no prebreathing. The downside of these benefits is that the 4 hour breathing cartridges for this suit weigh 10 pounds. A character wearing an armored skinsuit has restricted movement, and cannot add more than 2 to their armor class from dexterity.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
