Weapon (dagger), very rare

These blades are forged in Ethereal Mithral, the hardest known substance in the world. The blades come out from the wrist brace and gauntlets when deployed, they are also approximately a foot long. The gauntlets are made of Ethereal Mithral as well. The color of the metal turns the weapons and gauntlets into an ethereal golden silver.

The bracers and gauntlets offer some protection, giving the wearer a +2 to their AC. The blades themselves are dense and strong enough that they surpass normal daggers of a similar design giving a +2 to hit and damage.

The blades deal 1d4+2 + your DEX modifier. They also have the option to inject a poison if added beforhand. As a bonus action you can make an attack with your hidden blades if you have already made an attack using your action, also if your opponent is unaware of the hidden blades (passive perception DC 16) then you get advantage on the attack role and can add your sneak attack damage even if you have already applied it this round. On a roll of NAT 1 the blades mechanism jams and cannot be deployed until repairs are made (DC 14 tinkerers tools). After the blades are revealed to an opponent you can no longer apply sneak attack damage to them even if you have advantage on the attack role.

Because of the hidden blades complex mechanisms in order to deploy and the danger they present to untraind wielders. They can only be wielded by a Rogue who has taken training in becoming an assassin and has the assassinate feat.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
