The great Warlord Akudama took this blade with him into the next realm upon his binding to The Oni Lord. Within the handle of this blade is set a piece of jade, tinted with a dark crimson light. The pommel of the weapon is accentuated with a tarnished copper-gold Oni face; large eyes almost seeming to follow you.
If you are in possession of The Longsword of Akudama and are attuned to it you will not require to attune yourself with this blade, however you must have it on your person to receive the following benefits;

When you are reduced to below a quarter of your total hit points there is a surge of energy from this blade compelling you to draw it and utter the name Akudama; as a reaction you may draw and speak his name, doing so will allow you to wield this in your off hand for 1D4 rounds - on the first attack on each of your turns you may make a second attack using this weapon as part of the initial attack.
