Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a A humanoid proficient with longswords)

“I carry two swords. One of silver for creatures that roam the wild. One of steel for humans in their cities of stone. They're both for monsters.”

This is a silvered sword. When you are attacking non-human targets, you bypass any resistance to melee damage the monster may have.

Aerondight is blessed by the Lady of the Lake. Each successful hit gains one charge, to a total of 10 charges held. For each charge gained, the sword deals an extra 1d8 slashing damage. Hitting a target with a fully charged sword is an automatic critical hit, and should you choose to expend all 10 charges on this hit, roll a d10. Aerondight's damage is permanently increased by that number. However, this effect only activates after combat is over.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
