Ath‘Anel creates its own force damage ammunition if no arrow is knocked and deals an additional 2d8 force damage on the base longbow damage. If an arrow is knocked, its bonuses are counted but it is converted into a large streak of arcane energy as well, dealing force damage with all of its abilities.
Ath‘Anel has 10 charges. It regains 1d10 charges every midnight.
Before making a hit roll, you can expend 3 charges to add an infinite star to your attack. On a hit, the infinite star deals an additional 4d12 force damage. The target must then succeed on a DC17 constitution saving throw or become blinded until the start of your next turn.
If you choose to attack with Ath‘Anel, you may expend one charge to give you advantage on attack rolls against the last target you hit with Ath‘Anel until the end of your turn.
As an action, you can expend 6 charges to shoot an unstable star into the night sky. For the next minute, roll a d20 at the end of each of your turns. On a 15-20, a random enemy within 300 feet of the point where you shot the unstable star is hit by a shooting star. The target must make a dexterity saving throw DC 8 + your wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus. On a failed save, it takes 5d10 force damage or half as much on a successful one.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
