The magical item is a swirling ball of fire shaped like an egg, surrounded by golden feathers and a glowing message that hovers and swirls around the fire that reads:

This Item requires a living humanoid creature to lose is life in return the eggs magic will resurrect a dead creatures that has been dead for no more than 2 hours, if its soul is free and willing, the target returns to life with all its Hit Points. Revive a number of creatures equal to the number of humanoids sacrificed.
The resurrection process neutralizes any poisons and cures normal diseases afflicting the creature when it died. It doesn't, however, remove magical diseases, curses, and the like, if such affects aren't removed prior to casting the spell, they afflict the target on its return to life.
This item closes all mortal wounds and restores any missing body parts.
