Aether Stone

This pocketwatch-sized opal has a black mirror finish. In the light, you can see deep shades of violet. When held in complete darkness, however, a faint red aether roils deep within the gem, beckoning its bearer inward.

Aether Soul: Once attuned, the stone grants the user resistance to necrotic damage and vulnerability to radiant damage.

Empty Void: The Aether stone has 0 charges when attuned. Every time the user kills a humanoid, the stone gains one charge, as their soul is trapped in the stone, brightening its glow.
