Arcane Helm of Power

This helm is a crimson and silver helm that can only be attuned to those who are of the arcane persuasion. The Helm is sentient and can judge a wearer unworthy, (DM discretion), the wearer then takes 3d12 psychic damage and the Helm teleports itself away.

You do however gain these benefits if you can attune to it:

• You can cast the following spells (your save DC 8 + your Intelligence modifier + proficiency bonus).
• 1 charge: 1st level: alarm, false life, magic missile; 2nd level: acid arrow, misty step; 3rd level: counterspell, fireball;
• 2 charges: 4th level: dimension door, greater invisibility;
• 3 charges: 5th level: teleportation circle;
• 4 charges: 6th level: globe of invulnerability;
• 5 charges: 7th level: delayed blast fireball
• 6 charges: 8th level: sunburst;
• 7 charges: 9th level: meteor swarm.
• You have 10 charges per dawn, each spell is cast at the spell slot indicated, for the required charges indicated. Each additional charge expended increases the spell slot by one if it increases something for the spell, (damage, range, etc...)
• You gain +2 Intelligence and the maximum for this score.
• As an action, one of the trusted people can make a command and have you use one of the Helm's spells at the minimum charge(s) indicated; you have to do this command or take 1d6 psychic damage and roll a d20*.

*If you roll 1 you are judged unworthy (see above), 2-3 you are forbidden from using the Helm's spells of your own volition for 1d4 hours (you must be commanded to use a spell from the Helm), 4-10 you lose 3 charges for the day and 11-20 you lose a charge for the day.

Notes: Bonus: Intelligence Score, Bonus: Ability Score Maximum, vial of blood from 2-6 people you trust and 1 gem., Damage, Detection, Combat, Warding, Headwear
