While wearing this alabaster mask, you can use a bonus action and spend a charge to create a dimensional bubble around you that inserts 5 foot of additional space between you and any other player/effect/object. (except objects worn by you at the time the effect was triggered). The mask has 3 charges and recovers 1d4-1 (min 1) charges per day.
The dimensional bubble lasts up to 1 min or until dismissed as a bonus action.
While the bubble is active, any time you calculate distance between you and any other player, object, etc. add 5 feet. If you are targeted by an attack, you count as being 5 feet further way. For Area effect spells, you count as 5 foot further from the center/origin. This is not a displacement or offset in a certain direction, instead, you are 5 foot further ... simultaneously ... from everything.
Examples:
- You cannot attack an adjacent foe with a melee weapon unless it has reach.
- When making a ranged attack (weapon or spell) you do not have disadvantage when standing adjacent to a foe.
- When leaving the space adjacent to a foe, you do not provoke an AOO unless the foe has a reach weapon, since you do not count as adjacent to them.
- You cannot target or be targeted by any attack or effect with range of 5' or less.
- Squeezing through a tight space? not anymore.
- You are targeted by a ranged attack, add 5 foot when determining if you are in normal or long range.
