Assessing Glass

The Assessing Glass can be used up to twice a day, with two ways of using based on the settings of the glass lens and seeing stone. (One setting could be used twice, or one use of each setting). 

• The first of two capabilities, with just the seeing stone* alone, is to see the approximate value of items in view: magical or very costly items glow with a gold aura with intensity comparative to how much more valuable it is than the things around it (ex., a table of trinkets that has a series of costume jewelry pieces and one piece that has a real precious stone would glow; in an array of magical item, the rarest or most costly item would glow, and not the whole array would be blinding). This use lasts for up to 1 minute.
• The second of two capabilities, with the glass lens flipped in front of the seeing stone and a chosen password for somatic component, can cast "Detect Magic" and detected magic shows with a silver aura.

* A natural stone with a hole worn in the center naturally by dripping water over time. Not to be confused with a Gem of Seeing. Rumored to aid in seeing fairy-tale creatures.
